Political theorist

Lecturer of European Institutions and Research Fellow at the Department of Political Sciences, Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Milan.

In charge of the Public diplomacy and international politics module of the Master in Cultural Diplomacy: Arts and Media for International Relations and Global Communication, High School for Media Communication and Performing Arts (ALMED, Catholic University of the Sacred Heart).

Research Fellow at the Italian Institute for International Politics Studies (ISPI) in Milan and Research Fellow, at ISMU Foundation - Initiatives and Studies on Multi-ethnicity, Milan.

Previously Lecturer and Research Fellow at the University of Bologna, within the framework of the Horizon 2020 Project – GLOBUS Reconsidering European Contribution to Global Justice.

Bachelor degree in European Studies from the “L’Orientale” University in Naples (2004), M.Sc. in International Relations from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Milan (2008), a M.Sc. in Political Theory the from London School of Economics and Political Science (2010), and a Ph.D. in Institutions and policies from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Milan (2012).

Research interests: political theory, theory of the European integration, international relations, EU foreign policy, migration studies and diplomacy.
